Did you know that practicing the act of gratitude can dramatically change the emotional tone of your life?
It’s easy for us to get caught up in the things that go wrong in our lives and consequently all too often we miss opportunities for happiness and connection with others.
An activity recommended (and found to have a significant impact on participants’ happiness) by the Berkeley University is known as “Three Good Things”. This involves you reflecting on your day to this point and listing three positive things that have happened to you. It can be anything from a kick ass coffee to a smile from a stranger. Studies have shown that performing this daily for at least 1 week will not only positively effect your mood on a daily basis but continue to do so for up to 6 months later!
