We have two contrasting workouts this week:
The first one we call the SMORGASBORD. It has several different cardio elements – all medium distances – which are punctuated with strength endurance work. It’s going to push mentally – it’s definitely going to push physically. Give yourself an hour for this one, and take it at a steady pace. Rest where you need to, you only need to finish it, not in any particular time.
The second one is much quicker – taking about 20-25 mins. It takes all the impact out of the equation and relies a lot on your body-weight. If you’re pressed for time, or maybe wanting a lighter workout to get some of the soreness out of the body, this is perfect!
